Mental health is something that mentally affects multiple people and isn't always treated serious.

We are working towards spreading awareness and growing support in the community.

We want to help people understand.

We could put up posters, make posts and talk about it.

essay

I wrote an essay on the 2017 film Dunkirk by Christopher Nolan. It was good to write. The film techniques I included were dialogue and sound effects. I really like this film because of the characters and story line.  It was my second time writing an essay so I knew a bit about how to write it. It was a good experience.

Review for english

In english we have been learning about essays, sentence structures, haikus, and hunt for the wilderpeople.

We wrote an essay about film techniques from hunt for the wilderpeople, I didn't end up watching the film so I wrote my first paragraphs about the trailer but the actual essay about the film Dunkirk by Christopher Nolan.

When we were learning about sentence structures we learnt how to write full sentences including proper punctuation, nouns and adjectives. This helped us to write our essay well.

In the film hunt for the wilderpeople Hector reads a haiku about Ricky and his trip.

We wrote one about the film.

I enjoyed doing film study.

We been doing good stuff. We could be working at a higher standard but all are trying to be good and joining in. Our idea isnt working very well and we think we're gonna change it

Today in English I watched videos about the Manchester attack

It was a good story.
A positive is that its told very well.
Children would learn about what their ancestors thought

What you thought of the story?
Obviously not realistic but its kinda good.
Why?
Because you cant be a bird and nails cant light on fire

For the first week i was at my nanas. I found a cat eating a rat and i ran away so fast. I cried with happiness when we got back because i missed my friends. Jade came over and for the first two days we stayed in bed and watched thirteen reasons why for the last two days Jade and I stayed in bed with Jayden and Jordan. Chelsea and her sisters stayed a mine because their nana just died and their aunty is stealing her stuff even though on the will it said they aint aloud nothing only deanna. A lot of illegal stuff happened but i cant talk about that.

Abomination

This term in English we have been reading novel called Abomination by Robert Swindell.

It's got a good story line. 10/10 would read again. Its about a girl (Martha) bullied for her different ways but soon a new boy (Scott) comes and learns ALL of her secrets. Its not a book i would have read but it was surprisingly good.

Class Treaty

In our first social studies lesson our class and Mr Paseta came up with 12 class rules Mr Paseta came up with 6 rules and our class came up with 6. We put these rules into a class treaty. Here id an image of the treaty we all signed.

Letter to Mr P

Mr P wanted to get to know the students of 9ca. He wanted to know a bit about us, our interests and our goals for 2017. Here is my letter

Introduction:

My name is Samantha. I often get called Sammy too.

I am 12 years old. I have one brother Tom, who is 8. One sister Victoria who is 6.

My Mum is Mandy and Dad is Brent. They have been married for 13 years.

I went to Hornby Primary and this is my third year at Hornby High.

A bit about me:

I have a lot of obsessions some small, some very extreme. For example I have 90 pictures of Bradley Simpson in my room.

I like reading. I use Wattpad to get most of my stories.

I cry a lot mainly because of dogs and Ed Sheeran…

I love music. I have a few close friends but love to have fun with bigger groups of friends too.

My interests:

My interests are mainly Tom Felton, Ed Sheeran, Conspiracy Theories / Mandela effects.

I love to watch certain channels on YouTube.

I enjoy practicing make up and trying different styles including horror, drag and glamour.

My goals:

The end goal for me is to become a beautician. I would prefer to be doing hair and makeup but I would also be happy being a nail artist.

P.E 2017

 This is my P.E blog in which I will be writing about my experience in P.E.

I put myself as achieved.
I had my p.e gear most periods.
When I was injured I still helped out.
I try to go out of my comfort zone and participate.

I would have it go all day and evenly space out the events.
