I wrote an essay on the 2017 film Dunkirk by Christopher Nolan. It was good to write. The film techniques I included were dialogue and sound effects. I really like this film because of the characters and story line.  It was my second time writing an essay so I knew a bit about how to write it. It was a good experience.

In english we have been learning about essays, sentence structures, haikus, and hunt for the wilderpeople.

We wrote an essay about film techniques from hunt for the wilderpeople, I didn't end up watching the film so I wrote my first paragraphs about the trailer but the actual essay about the film Dunkirk by Christopher Nolan.

When we were learning about sentence structures we learnt how to write full sentences including proper punctuation, nouns and adjectives. This helped us to write our essay well.

In the film hunt for the wilderpeople Hector reads a haiku about Ricky and his trip.

We wrote one about the film.

I enjoyed doing film study.
