Birds at Lochmara

A story about birds at Lochmara Lodge

The first creature we got to visit Lochmara Lodge was a bird called Red-Crowned Parakeet. Even though I could barely focus on the wildlife because there was a small chance I would see a rat I still got a chance to see the birds. The smell caused by the turtle was terrible but it didn’t bother me. I felt uncomfortable with several birds staring at us whilst eating their seed mix. After a few minutes we got to leave the jail like cage.

  1. It is very good, but you could use some word that you don't normally use when you are talking to people

  2. I really like the phrase "I could barely focus". Your story reminded me of my experience, so well done! Make sure to use a hyphen ( - ) when you say "jail-like".
